Travis Kelce flew from Las Vegas to Sydney, Australia to watch Taylor Swift perform at her sold-out Eras tour, and while many thought he would be there for a while, he would soon be spotted again in Las Vegas days later.
Kelce missed out on the rest of her shows in Australia and we are now finding out why.
The Kansas City Chiefs star tight end already had previous obligations that included partying with his quarterback Patrick Mahomes amid a bachelor party.
Travis has work commitments, according to Yahoo Sports.
Ed Kelce, his father, spoke on their plans following the Super Bowl, saying (via Us Weekly) “I asked him, are you going to take off for Sydney, and he seemed keen. He said he’d really like to see Sydney and Singapore, but he wasn’t sure because he has commitments.”
Taylor has the rest of this week off and then plays six shows in Singapore which will begin on March 2nd. Swift’s Eras Tour resumed in Japan just a few days before Super Bowl LVIII.
The 14-time Grammy winner was able to attend all of the Chiefs playoff games as well as the Super Bowl. The team went 10-3 with her attendance overall.
Following a two-month break, the European leg of the Eras Tour will kick off in Paris, France, on May 9.
